Motorists facing disruption in Boston over issue at Sluice Bridge that triggers road closure
Motorists have been facing disruption in Boston this afternoon (Tuesday, March 30) following an issue at a level crossing in town.
Police have been on the scene at Sluice Bridge, turning away traffic.
The force was notified of an ‘infrastructure defect’ at the location at about 2.30pm, a spokesman said.
According to those in the area about this time, the lights of the level crossing were flashing, but the barriers were up. They were subsequently lowered.
