Stargazing at Tattershall Castle

Local astronomer Paul Money gave a talk to an enthusiastic audience at Tattershall Castle for the Spring Equinox Stargazing event.

Perfect stargazing conditions allowed the audience of all abilities - from complete beginners to regular attendees at Paul’s talks - to use the powerful telescopes to scan the night sky, with guidance from both Paul and his fellow astronomer.

He then gave an interesting illustrated talk on the spring sky, providing information on topics as diverse as how the view of the sky alters with the time of the night.

Paul will return later in the year for a talk on the Autumn Equinox.
