Coningsby and Tattershall Lions performed their latest panto, Once Upon a Circus, to great acclaim.
Written by Ant Hawkins and based on a fairy tale with a circus theme, the show was narrated by Postman Pratt.
It told the story of a magnificent circus running out of both money and acts.
There was plenty of slapstick comedy, flying custard pies and, of course, cheering at the end when the Prince revealed his true identity and was reunited with his one and only Cinders.
Everyone was thanked for their support and the proceeds from the panto meant that £1,200 could be donated to the Lions’ appeal for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
