Three members of the Coningsby and Tattershall Lions Club volunteered at last month’s Cerebral Palsy Games in Nottingham.
Peter Green, Michael Phillips and Pat Phillips were games starters, with Peter also acting as a team host helping athletes from around the world settle in.
During the opening and closing ceremonies, Peter, Michael and Pat had the privilege of parading with the athletes around the arena. “This, in itself, was a wonderful experience,” said Pat.
They completed 228 hours of service.
