Age UK Lindsey is looking forward to welcoming visitors to their annual Summer Festival next Tuesday, June 14.
The Festival opens at 10am with a welcome from Canon John Thorold, Chairman and Peter Wright, President.
Set in the Woodland Suite of the Petwood Hotel at Woodhall Spa, visitors can enjoy the relaxing ambiance together with the day’s entertainment.
There will be a wide variety of stalls to browse, including crafts, gifts, jewellery and vintage items.
The pop-up Age UK Lindsey charity shop stalls will have some bargains on offer too.
Visitors can also take the opportunity to get their health checked in the Well-being Zone by the Lincolnshire Co-op, who will be doing blood pressure checks throughout the day and giving advice on health and well-being to keep everyone in tip-top condition.
Music throughout the day will be provided by UQ, a local ukulele trio, Tara Stafford Allen, who will sing through the decades from the 40s to the 60s, and Peter Hickin will play on the patio with a sing-a-long at lunchtime.
The charity will be marking their 20th year in Horncastle with a celebration cake for everyone to sample.
There will also be a raffle and tombola with very nice prizes to take home.
Opportunities to find out more about Age UK Lindsey from the charity’s representatives will be available – call at the welcome table near the entrance to chat to one of the team about the services on offer or, if you have a few hours to spare on a regular basis, become one of the charity’s team of volunteers.
Entrance to the Festival is free to everyone.
