Two parish seats to be contested

There will be only two contested parish or town council elections taking place on May 7.

These will be in the Tetford and Coningsby wards.

In Coningsby 12 people will stand for the 11 seats. They are Sharon Beamish, Phillip Brown, Paddy Donnellan, Aimee Flitcroft, Martin Foster, Richard Johnson, Matt Mason, Kevin Moorhouse, Glyn Olive, Ruth Sharples, Mary Walker and Marlene Wilson.

In Tetford 14 people will 
seek election for the seven seats.

They are Jean Brown, Nikki Garnett, Barbara Harden, Stuart Kilby, Julia Larder, John Leach, Graham Louis, Martin Macpherson, David Marshall, Marlene Renshaw, Doug Smyth, Richard Stockdale, John Taylor and Paul Todd.

Horncastle Town Council will be uncontested, with the noticeable absence this year of current Mayor and long-standing councillor Sandra Campell-Wardman.

Other uncontested seats include: Baumber, Belchford, Benniworth, Bolingbroke, East Barkwith, Gautby, Goulceby, Mareham le Fen, Minting, Revesby, Roughton, Scamblesby, South Willingham, Tattershall, Tattershall Thorpe, Thimbleby, West Ashby, West Barkwith, Woodhall Spa and Wragby.

To vote in the May 7 election you must be registered by this Monday, April 20.
