Parish council to set precept at meeting

The next meeting of the Asterby, Goulceby and Ranby Parish Council is to be held on Monday, January 20, at the Three Horse Shoes starting at 7.30pm.

There will be a 10 minute session for members of the public, who are welcome to attend, to raise matters of interest.

The council meeting will formally open at 7.40pm when the main item on the agenda will be the budget for 2014 to 2015 and setting the precept for the coming year, which has to be submitted to East Lindsey District Council by the end of the month.

The final draft recommendations for the new walks leaflet for the parish, which has been prepared by volunteers on the Parish Paths Working Party, will also be considered with a view to approval.

Successful applications for grants from The Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service and the Lincolnshire County Council Parish Paths Partnership Scheme has provided the funding for the new leaflet and a launch day has been planned provisionally for the spring.
