People living in East Lindsey are being asked for their views on the Local Council Tax Support Scheme.
The district council is asking for the views on its proposed 2016-17 Local Council Tax Support Scheme through a consultation exercise.
The council is proposing to keep the scheme the same as in 2015-16. Pensioners would not be affected, war pensioners and war widow(ers) will be protected from changes and all working age people will be entitled to support for up to 75 per cent of their council tax liability depending on their circumstances.
Views are being sought through this consultation on whether proposed changes to other Government benefits should be applied to the local Council Tax Support scheme.
To take part in the consultation visit www.e-lindsey.co.uk/consultation or to request a paper copy call our Consultation Team on 01507 613418 or email email@example.com
The consultation closes on October 30.
