Woodhall Spa Festival Needs You!

Voluntary groups can cash in from the Woodhall Spa 1940s Festival, which expects to attract more than 10,000 visitors over two days.

The festival seeks help with car park stewarding during the weekend of July 18-19 to ensure the three car parks are manned with sufficient numbers of stewards to maintain efficiency and safety.

While the festival committee has employed a professional traffic management firm to handle all signage and road closures during the weekend, the group seeks help from other groups to direct drivers to available spaces.

Festival chairman Simon Elmer said expectations of a record weekend meant parking would be critical and he hoped local groups would help man the car parks while they raise funds for their own projects.

In return for a maximum commitment of seven hours stewarding a day (9am-4pm) groups can collect donations for their projects and causes from visitors who are able to park for free on the three sites on Witham Road, Green Land and Stixwould Road.
