Horncastle man faces historical sexual assault charges

Brendan Anthony Pollock, of Paradise Place, faces three charges of inciting a girl to commit an act of gross indecency, and five charges of sexual assault on a girl.

A further charge alleges that Pollock committed a series of acts with intent to pervert the course of public justice, relating to the sexual abuse allegations.

All of the alleged incidents related to the period between the mid-1990s and the early 2000s.

The case was brought to Lincoln Magistrates’ Court in early October, and it was adjourned to the same court on November 18.

According to a court spokesperson, the case was then sent to be dealt with at a crown court, with a nominal hearing date of December 16.
