Magna Vitae is launching nutrition workshops for those who need support to improve their health and lifestyle, starting in July.
The workshops will be delivered by Magna Vitae’s Nutrition Consultant, Marko Humphrey, focusing on all aspects of nutrition including healthy eating and weight management, as well as providing advice around mental health and other health conditions.
The workshops will be free to new and existing Magna Vitae members. They will also be available to non-members for a fee.
New exercise referral clients will be offered two nutrition workshops as part of an induction period giving practical help, advice and information on the best foods to eat alongside a fitness programme that helps with weight management and encourages those participating to be healthy and active.
There will be opportunities to arrange one to one nutrition sessions for clients referred by their GP, members and non-members as required at an additional charge.
The sessions will be held from July 4, every other week through to September at the Meridian Leisure Centre, Louth; Horncastle Swimming Pool and Fitness Suite; Embassy Pool and Fitness Suite, Skegness and Station Sports Centre at Mablethorpe.
Additional specialist workshops will also be held during the year.
