Victoria Atkins MP recently visited the Louth Job Centre to discuss the work being undertaken to improve employment rates in the area.
Recent unemployment figures show that the Claimant Count in Louth & Horncastle is down by 19% since January 2015, and 52% since the same month in 2010.
Victoria said: “It was a pleasure to meet with those working hard at the Louth Job Centre to support members of our local community in to work.
“I particularly welcome the work being done to assist those in seasonal employment to full-time jobs through out the year.”
“I am encouraged that recent figures show an increase in employment levels on this time last year, and I will continue to work with employers throughout Louth & Horncastle to further improve opportunities for work in our area.”
