UKIP’s Energy and Industry spokesman, Roger Helmer MEP, will join Victoria Ayling, UKIP’s Police and Crime Commissioner Candidate for Lincolnshire, for a public meeting at Louth Library tomorrow evening (Thursday March 31) from 7pm-9pm.
Mr Helmer is keen to hear from residents, and answer their questions about any issue, particularly, shale gas, wind farms and flooding.
As County Councillor, Ms Ayling will listen concerns and help with queries, particularly about policing in Lincolnshire.
Ms Ayling said: “I am delighted that Roger Helmer is attending as he is an expert on energy, has an impressive background in industry and vastly experienced on environmental issues.
“Roger is probably one of the best known MEP’s who has a reputation for blunt speaking and telling it how it is as opposed to sugar coating unpleasant truths. In the interests of honesty and transparency, this is an essential quality’
Mr Helmer added: “I am delighted to be attending the meeting, and am looking forward to it”.
