Young knights and princesses had a great time at Tattershall Castle - arriving in costume, wielding swords, trying on armour, tiaras and flowing gowns, they thoroughly enjoyed the activities on offer.
The children had the option of following a trail around the property; this year shopping for items to go on a dragon hunt, with prizes of a quill pen and a poster at the end.
To really get the feeling of days gone by, visitors had the opportunity to play some medieval games and dress up as a Lord or a Lady.
The sandpit was very busy too, with families taking great care building their very own castles out of the sand.
The next event at the castle is a Medieval Archery Weekend over the next Bank Holiday, which runs from 11am to 4pm on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday, when normal admission will apply.
