The marriage has taken place at St Peter’s Church, Woodhall Spa between Miss Clare Chantry, daughter of Howard and Elaine Chantry of Horncastle and Philip Wingham, son of Ashley and Anne Wingham of Fenton. The service was conducted by Reverend John Thorold and a reception was held at The Dower House Hotel, Woodhall Spa.
The bride was given away by her father. Clare wore an ivory duchess satin gown with a lace bodice and hem decorated with pearls. She wore a short veil with a pearl and crystal tiara. Clare carried a bouquet of Vandella roses, white freesia, gypsophilia and clusters of pearls.
The best man was the groom’s friend Mr Ricky Smart and the bridesmaids were Molly Curtis, friend of the bride, Natalie Coupland, bride’s cousin, Rebecca Wingham, bridegroom’s sister and Victoria Giddens, cousin of the bride. They wore ocean blue chiffon dresses and carried bouquets similar to that of the bride.
The ushers were Philip Chantry, Jamie Stock and Robert Busby.
Clare is a former pupil of Banovallum School in Horncastle and Philip attended North Kesteven School. They are both employed at St Hugh’s School, Woodhall Spa.
Their honeymoon will be spent in St Lucia.
