The Inn at Woodhall Spa was the setting a ‘hair’oic gesture by a charity fundraiser. Linda Redpath underwent a close shave in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The 51-year-old was taking part in the annual Brave the Shave event, which sees people across the country stand proudly alongside men and women with cancer by having their heads shaved.
“I have raised money for cancer awareness several times in the past and have paid a monthly standing order to Cancer Research for quite a few years now.
“However, I decided this was too good an opportunity to miss for raising a substantial amount,” said Linda, who hopes her hair-raising experience will reach her target of £1,000.
On the day, there was plenty of support for Linda - especially when it came to helping relieve her of her luscious locks.
The event was organised with the help of ‘Sweets n Treats by Toni’ and there is still time to show your support by logging on to bravetheshave.org.uk/shavers/linda-redpath/
