Junior doctors walk out at Bassetlaw Hospital today
Hundreds of patients at Bassetlaw Hospital have had appointments and operations cancelled due to the junior doctors strike today.
Dozens of junior doctors at the Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation trust are taking part in a 24-hour walk-out as part of a long-running dispute over new contracts.
The British Medical Association (BMA) is concerned about pay for weekend working, career progression and safeguards to protect doctors from being over-worked.
This follows a similar protest where the doctors joined picket lines outside the hospital in January.
Bassetlaw hospital says it has contacted all patients who are affected by the strike.
