Helping Hands is to be Coningsby Co-op’s Community Champion from December 6 to March 5, meaning that, every time a Co-op member uses their dividend card at that store, the group will receive a donation.
At the end of the three-month period, the money will be handed over to the group, which could be anything from £150 to £1,000.
The group has also received a donation from RAF Coningsby Charities, with the £340 received already spent on wheelchair and leg rests.
Donations during the past month amounted to £121.
A nebuliser has also been donated to the charity. If anyone is in need of one, speak to your doctor before contacting Debbie on 01526 343595.
The evening with the clairvoyant went down well and was enjoyed by all who attended. Another will be held during the spring.
A Christmas fair will be held in Coningsby Village Hall on December 5, when Father Christmas will visit.
The ever-popular raffle will have a first prize of £75 and tickets will be on sale at the entrance to the Co-op on November 20 and 21.
There will be a New Year’s Eve party in Coningsby Hall. Tickets are available now, priced £6, from Debbie on 01526 343595.
