The manager of a West Ashby care home says he is to respond to criticism from government inspectors.
The Grove has been slated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which says the centre “requires improvement.”
The findings follow an unannounced December visit to the home, which looks after up to 19 elderly people.
The CQC said the home had made improvements since a previous visit but further improvements are needed with regards to the safety of its service, their effectiveness, responsiveness and their management.
But the commission did say services at the home in Main Street were “caring” and “good.”
The manager of The Grove, Ranjit Karavadra, told the Horncastle News he was “looking into it (the report) right now” and would respond in the next few days.
