Young people living with epilepsy are being given the opportunity to get creative at a special one-off activity day.
The free music and art-themed event has been organised by UK-wide charity Epilepsy Action, in partnership with Access to Music and Lincolnshire One Venues, and will give young people with epilepsy the opportunity to try out a range of creative activities, while meeting other young people affected by the condition.
Staged at Lincoln’s Drill Hall, the event on Saturday November 7 will include a digital music workshop, electronic drumming, and graffiti, mural art creation and poster work.
Young people will also be able to find out more about epilepsy and share experiences with people who understand what it’s like to live with the condition, with staff and volunteers from Epilepsy Action also on hand to offer information and one-to-one chats about epilepsy.
The event runs from 11am to 4pm and is aimed at those aged 12-25; families are also welcome.
Book a place at epilepsy.org.uk/getcreative or call Will Butterworth on 07770 837 970.
