Thirty five students from Banovallum School are tackling bullying issues head on.
They have had specialist training by the president of the Diana Award anti-bullying ambassador, Alex Homes.
They also had advice from headteacher Ms Nicki Shore and a training session with staff.
The students visited two primary schools to talk about bullying.
As part of the project, Banovallum’s own band wrote an anti-bullying song and the school held a happy day. A non-uniform event, it featured a cake stall and pupils released balloons which had ‘happy messages’ attached.
