Monthly fish ‘n’ chips ‘n’ quiz nights at The Sebastapol Inn in Minting have been raising money for a life-saving charity.
The events have been very well attended and, between villagers and the inn’s owners, the Reed family, have raised £2,250 for the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance.
David Reed was on hand recently to present a cheque to Wragby doctor Simon Topham, who regularly flies with the helicopter.
The inn’s co-owner and head chef, Nick Reed, is also celebrating after being nominated by local MP Victoria Atkins for the Parliamentary Pub Chef of the Year competition.
Run by the British Beer and Pub Association and the All Party Parliamentary Beer Group, the winners will be announced in the new year.
