Residents will have the chance to hear about plans for Horncastle’s multi-million pound flood defence scheme at a meeting next Tuesday (May 26).
The lo0ng-awaited flooding plans will be on the agenda at the town’s annual parish meeting which will be held at the Conference Hall at Horncastle Business Centre off Mareham Road (7pm).
Coun Angela Birchall, recently elected as chairman of the Town Council, will present her annual report.
Apart from the flood defences, there will be a presentation on planning matters relating to Horncastle - and reports by the town’s county and district councillors.
There will be a chance for members of the public to ask questions at the end of the meeting.
