Wragby area Childminder ‘outstanding’

Education inspectors Ofsted have rated a Wragby area childminder ‘Outstanding’ after their latest inspection.

Michelle Louise Wallis, who works from home in Hoop Lane, Apley, received grade 1 for being ‘outstanding’ at meeting the needs of children, her contribution to their well-being and for her “effectiveness in leadership and management.”

Ofsted also said Michelle has “an exceptional understanding of the way that children learn” so they are “making excellent progress in their learning and development.”

“The childminder provides a highly stimulating and accessible environment. The childminder is highly skilled and sensitive and helps babies and children to form strong emotional attachments and feel very secure within the provision,” Ofsted also said.

At her previous Ofsted inspection in 2010, Ofsted gave a 3 or ‘satisfactory rating. The inspectors also praised Michelle for acting on their recommendations.
