‘Unique’ road show is heading to Horncastle

Students and academics from Lincoln University will bring a unique road show to Horncastle later this month.

The free event, open to all, will take place on Saturday October 18 at Stanhope Hall thanks to a link established between the psychology department of the university and Horncastle U3A.

U3A members have taken part in research projects over the last few months, some carried out in Horncastle and some at the university.

“The road show will be interesting and fun, with something for everyone, children included,” said U3A chairman Lynn Urbanowicz.

A team led by senior lecturer Dr Fenja Ziegler will give hands-on demonstrations of their research projects, giving an opportunity to discover more about sleep, memory, decision-making, motor-control and many more topics.

The road show will run from 10am to 3pm and refreshments will be available. For more information contact Lynn Urbanowicz on 01507 524430.
