Pupils on the School Council at the Holy Trinity Primary School in Tattershall have been working closely with the Christian club to raise money for Christian Aid Week.
The theme was ‘moove over poverty’ and their aim was to raise £150 to buy a cow for a family in Ethiopia.
A non-uniform day was held when children and staff paid a donation to dress as a cow or wear black and white.
They organised a cow themed fair where they sold cow pat biscuits kindly made by parents and staff.
Games included guess the name of the cow, how much milk in the jug and pin the tail on the cow. All their hard work paid off they raised over £325 which is enough for two cows.
More photos from the event are on the school website at holytrinitytattershall.co.uk.
