There was an extra special guest at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School in Horncastle - Professor Richard Henderson, this year’s winner of the Nobel Prize for Chemistry.

Students heard Prof Henderson reveal how scientific thinking and practice has changed during the last 50 years and how he entered the profession of scientific research.

He is pictured with students and headteacher Heather Payne who hopes the visit will inspire students to develop their own science careers further.
