Staff and students at Banovallum School enjoyed a new tradition ahead of the Christmas break.

Two carol services were held for students at St Mary’s Church.

They were conducted by The Rev Charles Patrick and The Rev Samantha Parsons.

Students and staff sang carols and took part in readings and musical recitals.

A spokesman from the school said: “There was a real sense of community.”
