The county’s waste and recycling service is warning residents in the Tattershall area that they may experience delays if they plan to visit the Household Waste Recycling Centre between Friday 18th and Monday 21st September.
There will be more traffic than usual on Kirkby Lane as some motorists will be travelling to the Alchemy Festival at Coningsby. The festival site shares the same access road to the HWRC so there may be queues at times.
Ian Taylor, Environmental Services Team Leader, said: “There might be higher volumes of traffic on this route from the Friday until the Monday.
“We don’t want to waste anyone’s time so we are letting people know in case they can bring their items another day.
“The recycling centre will be open as normal for those who would still like to visit, but please allow extra time for your trip just in case.”
