Warning to rural properties after theft

A number of items were stolen in a burglary at a property in Old FenLane in Scrub Hill near Coningsby.

The theft took place overnight between Wednesday January 22 and Thursday January 23.

The offender forced entry to a outbuilding at the premises and stole a ride-on mower, a Honda petrol mower, a child’s blue bicycle and an electric grinder.

During the same period, an attempt was made to force entry to a shed at a neighbour’s property.

PC Calley Murray is appealing for information about the burglary.

People living in rural areas are being asked to be vigilant to suspicious activity and vehicles and to report anything of concern.
