He was arrested on Thursday April 17. A 19 year-old man from the same address was arrested at the same time in connection with a theft of diesel from the construction site on Churchill Avenue.

Police had been appealing for information about a burglary at an elderly lady’s home.

The incident happened at a ground floor flat in Hodson Green whilst the 83 year-old female occupant was asleep inside.

The offender allegedly gained entry via a bathroom window shortly before 3am on Thursday, and allegedly stole a 38” Bush TV and cash and bank cards from a purse before leaving through the kitchen door.

It is believed that the offender left the area on a black and red mountain bike.

He is also charged with the burglary of a disabled man’s home in Horncastle.
