Residents at Toray Pines care Home at Coningsby got a taste of the Wild West thanks to a special themed day organised by the staff.
They were transported to the American plains, food - pancakes, waffles, pulled pork and burgers, activities and Country and Western music playing throughout the home.
Some of the 80 staff at the home even donned Cowboy and American Indian costumes as part of the event.
“It was excellent fun and the staff and the residents had a great time together,” said assistant manager Zara Walker.
“Staff organize special themed days regularly to keep residents stimulated and entertained and are considering Chinese or Italian themes for the next event.”
