Make your paw prints count by helping to raise money for St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice care in your area.
The hospice is holding their sponsored `Paws 4 Cause’ Dog walk on Sunday May 10 and all dogs are invited to take their owners along and put their best foot forward for a fun morning walk along the picturesque `Spa Trail’.
Traffic free and suitable for all, the trail is a flat surfaced bridleway along the mid section of the old Horncastle to Woodhall Spa Junction railway line and part of the Horncastle canal.
The walk starts and finishes at Horncastle Swimming pool and is approximately six miles.
A three-mile option is available, however you would need to make your own arrangements to be collected from the Picnic site at Martin.
And don’t worry if you haven’t got your own pooch, why not borrow one, bring along a cuddly one or even dress up as one?
Registration is £5 per dog and each dog will receive a free `doggy goody bag’.
All monies raised through sponsorship will be used to support the continuing delivery of Hospice community services in the East Lindsey area.
Lead dog Honey the golden retriever said: “This is an excellent opportunity for you to get your owners out in the fresh air for a lovely Sunday morning stroll so why not give your owner a treat and sign them up today!”
