Thousands of people are expected to flock to Horncastle at the weekend as Crowders garden centre hosts its largest ever event.
The fundraiser, in aid of sick children’s charity When You Wish Upon a Star, is set to be a huge success, with live entertainment, music, face painting, displays from the BBMF Lancaster bomber and more than 50 stalls.
Special guests include celebrity chef Rachel Green, who will be giving cooking demonstrations, officers from TV show Police Interceptors and author Margaret Dickinson, who will do a book signing.
Stalls will be selling everything from food and drinks to crafts and clothes - and there will be a tombola and a raffle with all kinds of exciting prizes.
Crowders shop manager Dean Walker, who organised the event, said staff were looking forward to it - and he was keen to highlight that all money raised would go to When You Wish Upon a Star.
He said: “It’s the biggest event we’ve ever had, we’re expecting about 5,000 people over the weekend.
“We’re all looking forward to it.
“We want everyone to enjoy themselves but also to remember that it’s all for the kids (helped by When You Wish Upon a Star).”
The charity works to grant the wishes of children living with a life threatening illness.
The event takes place at the Lincoln Road garden centre on August 22 and 23.
