A re-furbished charity shop will open in Horncastle this Saturday to help a charity save the lives of lost and abandoned dogs.
The Doris Banham Dog Rescue shop is based in South Street and will feature a complete new-look.
All proceeds from the shop are spent directly on dogs rescued by the charity.
Many of them are in pounds and would be destroyed, if it wasn’t for the efforts of the charity.
Trudie James, a trustee and founder of the charity, said: “We have saved the lives of 15,000 dogs to date.
“Our ultimate aim is to find these betrayed dogs the loving home they deserve.”
