A man has been arrested in connection with the theft of cars from Hemingby and Sotby earlier this week.
One of the vehicles was stolen from Green Lane, Hemingby, shortly after 5pm yesterday (Wednesday August 26) while the other vehicle had previously been stolen from the Sotby area.
Both vehicles had the keys inside had the time.
A 41-year-old man, of no fixed abode, was arrested in Oxfordshire by Thames Valley Police officers and he will be interviewed in due course by Lincolnshire Police and other forces in connection with a number of incidents.
Police are reminding motorists of the importance of securing cars, even in rural areas, and even when left for just a few moments.
