East Lindsey District Council says refuse crews were operating on their normal rounds today (Monday).

Collections were suspended last week because of the bad weather, but the ‘big thaw’ means crews are expecting to reach rural communities.

The council has confirmed extra crews are tackling a back-log of collections from last week.

It asks house-owners whose bins weren’t collected to leave them in a ‘visible location’ but ‘within their property boundary.’
