Pupils at Banovallum School in Horncastle held a non-uniform day to raise money for ‘Stand Up To Cancer.’
The events promoted healthy lifestyles and encouraged good community and social values. Students wore something pink and made a minimum donation of £1. The money will help fund lifesaving research for Cancer Research UK.
Banovallum and Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar school councils voted to make Cancer Research UK their joint charity. It was the first opportunity for both schools to work together and raise money for a fantastic charity which is close to many peoples’ hearts.
