Customers at a Horncastle bank have shown their support for those people most in need this Christmas.
Lloyds Bank has been accepting donations for the Horncastle Community Larder, which provides emergency food and provisions to individuals and families struggling to make ends meet.
Bank manager Richard Willoughby and assistant bank manager Angela Smith too the donations to the larder’s base at the community centre in Manor House Street.
Thanking them, local helper Bob Wayne said the food was especially welcome at this time of year.
“The larder is dependent on contributions by service organisations and churches but most importantly by individual voluntary gifts by members of the community,” he said.
