All welcome at funeral of prominent Horncastle businessman next week


The funeral of a popular Horncastle businessman who was killed in a collision on Bank Holiday Monday will take place on Tuesday, May 19.

Paul White, 54, was riding his red Ducati motorbike on the B1225 Caistor High Street near Ludford when he was involved in a collision with a blue Vauxhall Vectra travelling in the same direction.

His funeral service will be held at 1.30pm on Tuesday at St Mary’s Church, Horncastle, followed by cremation at 3pm at Alford Crematorium.

All are welcome to attend either service then the family extend an invitation to join them at the Admiral Rodney Hotel in Horncastle.

Family flowers only please but donations, if wished, to LIVES, the Air Ambulance, and the Salvation Army, via Turners Funeral Services.

Mr White was a member of the family which owns the Laurels Service Station in Horncastle, a prominent part of the town since 1963.
