There’s no doubt that Christmas means so much to everyone - young and old.
Our photographers were out and about during the festive season to capture the enduring spirit of Christmas.
Many schools put on seasonal plays and there were no shortage of shepherds and stars in performances that must have delighted proud parents.
That was certainly the case at St Andrew’s School, Woodhall Spa and Tattershall Primary School.
At the other end of the age scale, residents and staff at the Toray Pines Care Home in Coningsby didn’t miss out as they enjoyed a good old knees up at their Christmas party.
If tradition is more your thing, then St Hugh’s School in Woodhall Spa was the place to be as the choir performed at a Carol Service.
The crowds came out at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School in Horncastle to take part in a Christmas Market to raise funds for the PTA.
When it came to lights, it seemed the whole village attended the big ‘switch on’ in Tattershall.
Already, everyone is looking forward to the New Year and schools will soon be throwing open the doors for the start of a term. Memories of Christmas, though, will linger on.
