An aviation museum near Horncastle is giving people the chance to take a closer look at work to restore a Lancaster bomber to its former glory.

The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, in East Kirkby, is holding the Winter Restoration Tour this Saturday, December 9, at 11am.

It is a chance for visitors to inspect the restoration of Just Jane, its Avro Lancaster NX611.

Work on Just Jane has been ongoing for several years as part of a £3.5m restoration project with the aim of getting her flying again after 50 years.

Tickets are priced at £8 for adults, £7 concessions, and £3 for children.
