WOMEN from across the area have been taking steps to raise money for a breast cancer charity.
Around 15,000 people took part in the Playtex London MoonWalk on Saturday, which set off at midnight for charity Walk the Walk.
Participants are asked to power walk their way through a 26.2 mile course around the streets of London in decorated bras.
Among those taking part were Bev Martin, Lynette Draper, Gemma Mullenger, Molly Draper, Jo Lindsey and Sally Draper.
The team, who are from Hagworthingham and Woodhall Spa, walked their way to raise more than £2,000.
They completed the event together in seven hours and 45 minutes.
It was the sixth time Sally has taken part in the MoonWalk and the third time for Jo and Lynette.
For Molly, the challenge marked her 70th birthday.
Julie Lawrence and Doreen Buzzard, who own Glenn James Wig Specialists in Woodhall Spa, along with Fiona Cartwright and Beverly Williams, both of Horncastle, were another team to cross the line together.
They completed the course in six hours and 28 minutes to raise almost £600.
Beverly said: "It was quicker than I did it last time. This was the second time I've done it. The first was in Edinburgh and I did it in seven hours and 20 minutes.
"It's harder than you imagine walking at speed for that long. We were really pleased about the time."
