MEMBERS of Woodhall Spa Lions Club enjoyed an evening at the home of Jim and Annette Amer-Barnes in aid of LIVES.
First Responder Liz Steadman gave a practical demonstration of Basic Life Support and Defibrillation and explained the procedures involved.
Liz also accepted a cheque for £100 from the club on behalf of the Woodhall Spa LIVES group.
The money will help to fund medical equipment and oxygen supplies.
LIVES response times are usually under four minutes.
In cases of serious injury, each one minute delay can reduce chances of survival by 10 per cent.
Anyone interested in volunteering for Woodhall Spa LIVES should call Eileen on 01526 353184.
