Abigail Tarttelin, 20, now based in London, has gone from strength to strength with her acting and has recently finished filming for her leading role in Schrodinger's Girl – a British independent science fiction flick.

Growing up in the village, she attended Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School in Horncastle and went on to study film at the New York Film Academy.
Despite being only 20 years old, she has already played leading roles in short films such as the Photographer, directed by Dan Robinson in 2007, and La Geode, directed by Theresa Hong in 2006.

In theatre, she has played Juliet in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Katherina in The Taming of The Shrew and Abigail in The Crucible, to name a few.
Having studied and worked in New York, she still holds great memories of Woodhall Spa.
"I like the area for its natural beauty," she said.
"My dad runs his own natural environment land management consultancy and I grew up being taken around nature reserves and being very aware of the natural aspect of Lincolnshire, with the coast and the moors."
In her new film, Schrodinger's Girl, she plays three different characters, in parallel dimensions.
Abigail described working on the film as 'a fantastic experience'.
