AN ENTRY has been made by Woodhall Spa Parish Council for the 2008 Best Kept Village Competition.
Councillors will be approaching local groups - especially those with younger members such as the Youth Club and St. Andrew's School - to ask for help with litter picks in the village during June, July and August.

In those months the village needs to look spick and span since the judges could arrive at any time to make an inspection.

Woodhall Spa won the contest in 1988 and 1998 so could it be a winner again in 2008?

* Do you think Woodhall Spa is the best village ever?
