THE Horncastle News has a new village correspondent for Woodhall Spa.
She is Pat Wheat, who has lived in Witham Road for the last 32 years.

A co-opted member of the Tree Committee of Woodhall Spa Parish Council, she also serves on the area committee of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.

She is interested in the environment and all things cultural and enjoys cycling, walking and craftwork, especially lace-making.

Pat spent her working life in local government and has two grown-up children.

News editor Sean Topham said: "If you want to help keep Woodhall Spa in the news, please contact Pat. She would particularly like to be kept informed of any future events, meetings, etc. taking place in the area.
"If you think you might have an interesting news item or would like to request a photographer to attend an event, please call or email Pat.

"If you drop reports in to the Horncastle News collection box in Martin's newsagents then please carry on doing so. Pat will call in regularly to collect the items."

* To contact Pat Wheat, call 01526 352382 (evenings) or email patwspa@tiscali.co.uk
