The Pink Sparkle Breast Cancer fundraising group is hosting a family Zumba Picnic on Saturday at Horncastle Community Centre from 12-2pm.

It is a family event and organisers are aiming to raise money for Breast Cancer Care and Cancer Research.

It will include a Zumba demonstration by Sarah Marwood, cakes, a raffle, face painting by AKA and sweets and candy floss from Sweets N Treats by Toni.

Raffle prizes have been donated by local business including a barbecue from Morrisons in Louth, a voucher for a set of Gel Nails, sparkling wine, five free Zumba classes, wine and chocolates from the Lincolnshire Co-Op in Horncastle and a Kitoko Gift set from Sharpe Direct Hair and Beauty.

The Pink Sparkle Breast Cancer fundraising group was set up to help a friend of one of the organisers who is recovering from breast cancer.

The group has held various events and raised £1,300. More events are planned later in the year.

Tickets for Saturday will be available on the door but can be purchased earlier. They are available from Carly Dowman (07446073390) or from Sarah Marwood, who runs Zumba classes on Monday nights at Horncastle Community Centre, Tuesday nights at Banovallum School Hall and Thursday nights from 7.30pm at Methodist Church in Queen Street, Horncastle.
