There will be some spooky goings on in Horncastle later this month.

The town’s Walkers Are Welcome Group have arranged a Ghost Walk, taking in many of Horncastle’s supposedly haunted sites, on Friday, February 27.

It is led by experienced historian Peter Harness, who will point out ghostly and sometimes grim features of the town’s history.

The free walk will take just over an hour and “Ghost Busters” of all ages are welcome.

It will leave the Market Place at 7pm and terminate at the Kings Head in the Bull Ring where members of the group will be available to outline their activities.

The ghost walk is one of many events planned for this year, including a dawn chorus walk in April and a “Geocaching” event in June. Details from 522957 or visit the Town Council Office in the library.
