Horncastle Theatre Company takes to the stage once again next week with their production of Quartet, written by Ronald Harwood.
Directed by Priscilla Danby-Burbidge the play follows the lives of residents in a home for retired musicians.
Opera singers Cecily, Reggie and Wilfried are planning the annual concert to celebrate Verdi’s birthday, when the arrival of Jean Horton - the most famous members of their former quarter - arrives at the home.
Years before they had sung the quartet from Rigoletto together.
Could they do it again? Jean thinks not, but the others take a different view.
Performances run from Wednesday March 26 to Saturday March 29 with each show starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets, priced at £6 and £5 for concessions, are available, as always, from Horncastle Music Shop, Bull Ring, or by calling 01507 526566.
The winner of our competition for two tickets for the opening performance on Wednesday March 26 was Caroline White from Southrey.
